At St Nicholas we welcome children and all they can teach us.
For school age children we offer Children’s Church during term-time. The children are in church for the start of the service, then leave in procession to St Denys (our church hall across the road from church). There they have their children’s liturgy of the word, before returning in time for communion. At the end of the service they are invited to show and tell the congregation what they’ve been doing.
For younger children we have a children’s corner near the main entrance with a comfortable seating area and books, colouring activities, etc. And we also have ‘busy bags’ with things for little ones to do if they want to sit with you. These are located under the bench in the children’s corner.
