Learn about Murrill’s parallel life as a Bletchley Park code-breaker, including the astonishing musical activity mounted in that place, alongside his rise to the top of the BBC.
The talk will be interspersed with a performance of his highly attractive and varied songs, many of which have only recently been rediscovered in the BBC archives, ahead of a new recording.
