In light of recent announcements I thought it might be useful to outline our church’s position.
We will continue with our usual Christmas services unless we are told by the government to lock down, which I think highly unlikely.
Can I therefore ask if you are intending to attend any of our Christmas services to wear a face mask even when singing. If you can, please take a lateral flow test before the service and only to attend if it is negative. Obviously if you are showing any symptoms, which include a sore throat, runny nose, or cough to remain at home.
We will not be serving our tradition mulled wine and mince pies after our carol service on Sunday, we thought this just a little too risky.
Obviously if you feel attending our services would limit your ability to visit family and friends over the Christmas period I completely understand.
Please take care and be assured of my prayers always.
